The need to empower communities
In an era where conflict and violence prevail in the region, it is of vital importance to focus on strengthening the cohesion of communities, providing them with an innovation-friendly environment, and presenting media platforms that professionally broadcast the truth with transparency, thus helping to enlighten people and illuminate their views. It is also necessary to promote harmony, understanding and tolerance among cultures, religions and civilisations, and to emphasise the importance of embracing the principle of universal peace, in addition to providing the communities with platforms that sponsor innovative individuals and intellectuals. Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives efforts in this field touched upon the lives of millions of people from more than 200 nationalities.
